There is a way to save data and time while using your mobile: we tell you what is the Chrome Basic Mode.
It’s called Basic Mode, “Lite Mode” in English, and it’s neither more nor less than the evolution of Chrome Data Saving.
This function of the Google browser for Android had been helping us for some time: to save up to 60% on data from our mobile rates, according to data of the company itself, when loading compressed websites. However, this update comes with some news.
The main one is that the new Chrome is not limited to simply compressing the pages before opening them. Now it loads the lite version of all those websites that it estimates will take more than five seconds to load, something that is especially useful for slow connections.
However, if a website does not have a reduced version, nothing happens because Google will then load a very basic website, which will dispense with many of its multimedia elements.
How active
In addition, activating this mode that allows us to navigate faster using fewer data could not be easier. To do this you just have to open Chrome and click on the three dots icon in the upper right.
Inside it would only be to press on “Basic mode” and activate it. From that moment you can go there to see all the graphs of the data you have used and those you have saved.
